Operating Policies

Drop-off times for daycare (Monday - Friday) are between 6:30 am - 9:30 am.

You may drop your dog off at anytime during this window.
You are welcome to park in the 3rd parking stall from the beginning of the fence (the stall beside the small tow trailer) Others do rent out the other stalls so please refrain from parking in the other stalls during drop off/pick up (even if they are empty at the time).    You can also park next to our chain link fence in the parking lot adjacent to ours (as long as you are very quick).

Please text us approximately 15-30 mins prior to arrival or upon arrival.
We will come out to greet you at the fence and bring your dog in for you.

**Failure to drop off within this window may mean denial of daycare services for that day.   We operate on a loose schedule and isn't fair to the dogs if they are forced to remain in a constant state of alert due to unscheduled or random arrivals/departures.  It's at the 'managements' discretion if this day may be rescheduled in the future.

Pick-up Times for daycare (Monday - Friday) are between 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm

At the end of the day, you are welcome to pick up your dog at anytime during the above window.  Text us when you are approximately 15 minutes away from the centre (or upon arrival). We will get your pup ready to go and bring them out to you.   You can also ring our doorbell (though texting is preferred for obvious reasons).

**Failure to pick-up your dog during this window may mean that you will be responsible for the overnight boarding rate/and client will be required to pick-up their dog by 9:30 am the following morning.   If you are 60 mins past the last pick-up time (6:30 p.m), you will be charged the overnight boarding rate for that evening.
If your dog is scheduled to attend daycare the following day,  and you again fail to pick up by your dog by closing (6:30 pm), we reserve the right to contact a local, reputable rescue, report that the animal has been abandoned and transfer the animal to their  care.

Vaccinations:
Current vaccination records for Bordetella, Canine Influenza, DHPP, Leptospirosis, and Rabies for reservations required.

A 14 day waiting period is required after the initial 1-4 doses of all vaccinations.  All vaccinations must be administered by a licensed veterinarian.  Annual titer tests are accepted in lieu of any vaccination requirements (except rabies).

Animal  Wellness and Safety:
Dogs must arrive and leave on a leash.

Dogs must not be allowed to interact with other dogs if you encounter another dog also waiting to come in to daycare, even if they know one another and are friendly to one another.
Please ensure that your dogs have done their morning potty business  before they enter daycare.

Please understand that there are risks and benefits associated with group socialization. While the socialization and play is closely and carefully monitored by staff to prevent injury, it is still possible that during the course of normal play your dog may receive minor nicks and scratches from roughhousing with other dogs. Any small injury will be pointed out by staff at pick up.  As our pack members  are carefully screened for aggressive tendencies, playstyle, personality, tolerance, and their ability to speak "dog", there is rarely ever any discord between the dogs outside of small disagreements.    We believe that prevention is key in terms of keeping the peace.  The dogs are constantly monitored for potential conflict and re-directed appropriately.

If your dog becomes ill or injured in our care, we will first attempt to contact you or your emergency contact, if the situation and time permits.   If we are unable to reach you,  we may make the decision to take your dog to the closest vet to have your dog treated.   If the injury is superficial and/or carries no risk of grave harm to the dog, we will treat the dog ourselves and then attempt to contact you again.

We are unable to accept dogs that have issues with dog-dog aggression, dog-human aggression, resource guarding, and/or excessive mounting, marking and/or barking,

We are unable to house or care for sick/ill dogs (unless it is a long-term, manageable condition that is being monitored by a vet).  We do not accept dogs for boarding, daycare, or training while they are undergoing medical treatments for cancer or heartworms.

Age:  All dogs must be 4 months of age or older and all puppies must have received their second set of shots at least two (2) weeks prior to entering daycare.
Spaying/Neutering:  All dogs older than 7-9 months of age (at the discretion of the management) must be spayed or neutered.  Dogs can return to daycare approximately 3 weeks post-surgery.

Refund Policy (Daycare): There are no refunds for monthly memberships or missed days.   Missed days may be able to be reschedule in future, space permitting, with the approval of the Manager.
*NOTE: If your regular daycare day falls on a STAT or Government Holiday,  the daycare will be closed that day.
