Overnight Boarding in New Westminster

In addition to daycare, we are happy to board your pups while you are away on vacation or on a business trip.  

We are usually booked up months in advance (especially for holiday dates).   To avoid disappointment, submit your boarding date requests as early as possible.   

However, there is always a chance that we have an  opening due to cancellation etc, whether you are an existing client or not.   So, feel free to ask if we have space.   All dogs must have an evaluation prior to participating in any services.  At minimum, your pup must attend 1-2 full days of daycare prior to boarding with us.

Your dog already LOVES coming to daycare with us and they are already familiar with our home. 

This means never  having to feel worry or guilt when your dog comes for sleepovers with us.

for the both of you!

Unless your dog is more comfortable being crated or kennelled overnight, we allow them to free-roam in our house while they board with us.  This is obviously the lowest stress option for boarding.

We only board  3 dogs maximum (that are familiar with each other) at any one time.  

This ensures that every dog receives specialized, individual attention while in our care and ensures a safe space for all.

WHAT TO BRING WHEN BOARDING WITH US:

• Your dog!

• A flat buckle collar and/or harness and 6 ft. leash.

• You must provide your dog's food in a clear container labelled clearly with your dog's name and the amount per day and/or individual daily baggies clearly labelled with your dog's name. 

• If you are feeding a raw or fresh cooked diet, we can also store frozen or perishable food in our fridge or freezer for you.  This must be packaged by the individual meal in clearly labelled containers or ziploc bags.

• We also ask that you provide the appropriate amount of your dogs favourite chews for the duration of their stay with us (bully sticks, yak cheese chews, antlers etc.).   We can also provide these if you prefer (at the add-on price).  Please let us know before your travel date if you would like for us to provide these.

• Feel free to send weather dependent clothing (1 rain jacket and/or 1 sweater) but ask that all items be labeled with the dogs first and last name with a type of permanent labeling such as permanent marker. If items are received unlabeled, we will label the personal belongings with permanent labeling.

• Medications: We are happy to administer oral and topical medications that your dog requires with no additional cost. Injections can be given for a small fee.  Please discuss your dog’s medication needs with us prior to their stay.

• Any clothing, except for coats/jackets/sweaters in the cold weather months, or accessories worn by your dog will be removed prior to your pup joining a group unless previously discussed with a Canine Lane team member. We are not responsible for any items sent with your dog.

MEMBER RATES :

Monday - Thursday :

PLATINUM MEMBERS -$45 per night

GOLD MEMBERS -$55 per night

SILVER MEMBERS -$65 per night

Non-Member and weekend rates for Members:

Friday - Sunday - $75 per 24 hours 

Major Holidays - $85 per 24 hours 

Silver Membership has priority over non-members.  However, reservations are not guaranteed in high season.

Gold Membership has priority over non-members and Silver members.  Reservations are not guaranteed unless made 3 months prior for high season and 14 days prior for low season.

Platinum Membership has priority over non-members and both Silver and Gold members (guaranteed at anytime of year).

HIGH SEASON IS MARCH, JULY, AUGUST, OCTOBER AND DECEMBER
